How To Build Technology Solutions With Your Community

Some of my day-to-day responsibilities at WORQ involves driving our technology roadmap and empowering teams to embody modest change through the use of technology. Most of them don't know how to code at all when I started, but they are now learning to develop automation solutions to address the community's needs. There are two tools that I have been using to bring the community together to build our future technologies.

I have been a big fan of Google App Scripting, which utilizes TypeScripting to stitch together all of Google Suite solutions. We used it to automate our processes. With guidance and support, the community could easily pick-up TypeScripting compared to JavaScripting.

The heavens blessed us with Glitch.com, a free cloud solution to set up your web environment in seconds! You can jumpstart your NodeJS and ExpressJS environment in seconds, and link it to SQL Lite database if you feel like it. The best part is that you can share your environment with others — a perfect tool to teach others how to develop web solutions.

If you want to know more, you can visit me at any of WORQ's outlets. As for now, happy building team!
